The primary
goal of the Ottawa County Republican Party is to find, encourage and support
candidates who believe in freedom and personal responsibility that are the core
conservative ideals of the Republican Party, and have the desire and commitment
to serve the public using these ideals. We
are committed to finding quality candidates who share our high standards for
public service and will serve Ottawa County faithfully.
Because of this
commitment, training programs are offered for candidates at both the State and
local levels. Also, with the technology we have today, a wide variety of
services is available to both candidates and potential candidates.

We intend to
use our editorial page to present the Republican point of view.
We will have guest opinions and the latest from the Republicans who
represent Ottawa County. The
Chairman and Chairwoman of Ottawa County will, from time to time, address an
opinion on topics that you won’t find printed in the newspapers.
If you have an opinion that you would like posted, please submit it to
our editorial review board in care of the County Chairman.
